College & Career Readiness is what Career & Technical Education is all about!

Students in all programs have the opportunity to earn a variety of college and career benefits including:

  • Dual Enrollment College Credit (credits earned through embedded college courses)

  • Post Secondary Credit (credits earned through articulation agreements or other post secondary recognition)

  • Industry Recognized Credentials (professional certifications)

  • Professional Licensing (professional licenses)

In addition, qualifying second-year students in all programs may take advantage of work-based learning experiences through our Co-op program.

Cooperative education programs establish and maintain strong collaborations (partnerships, associations) between secondary education and key members of industry. In Vermont, cooperative education is composed of four work-based learning categories: job shadow, career work experience, cooperative technical education and student apprenticeship."
